Our Head of Boarding, Mrs Bartlett-Rawlings, along with her team, ensure that you feel comfortable and at home during your stay. Whether you require academic assistance or simply someone to talk to, there will always be someone available to lend an ear. The engaging schedule of activities and excursions guarantees that you will gain a variety of enriching experiences, creating a memorable boarding experience.

No 'compulsory' exeat weekends

At The Royal, we offer a unique solution to the cost and worry of going to guardians for exeats. We remain open and active with a variety of activities throughout the term, which is popular with parents and pupils alike. Our boarders can stay with us over the weekends (except holidays and half terms) to enjoy a range of activities led by our experienced Head of Boarding.
