Weekend Activities

Whatever the weather, we offer a whole range of exciting social, cultural, sports activities encouraging everyone to join in and try something new. International pupils will benefit from a full British experience whilst at The Royal. 

Weekends are brimming with enriching experiences to enhance pupils’ understanding of British culture but also to foster a sense of community.

Outings include:

• theme park experiences
• bowling, paintballing, ice-skating, go- karting
• competitive sporting activities
• sporting events, national basketball and rugby matches
• cultural outings include art galleries, National Trust places and sculpture parks, exhibitions, trips to London and on the river Thames to Greenwich, theatre/ music trips.

Weekend Activities & Adventures

No 'compulsory' exeat weekends

At The Royal, we take the cost and worry of going to guardians for exeats out of the picture. We remain open and buzzing with activities throughout the term. This is a unique offering and popular with parents and pupils alike.

Royal boarders have the choice to stay with us over the weekends (except holidays and half terms) to enjoy a range of activities lead by our experienced Head of Boarding.
