EDUCATION WITH A BREATH OF FRESH AIR.... Girls at The Royal School were celebrating a series of outstanding A Level results gaining them entry to diverse courses at universities including Nottingham, Exeter, York, Southampton, Warwick, Durham and UCL. Despite the dire predictions in the media, The Royal School girls have succeeded in securing places on their chosen courses. The GCSE results achieved by girls from The Royal School were also excellent. The number of A* grades improved this year from 14% in 2009 to 17% in 2010 (compared with 7.5% nationally), with 42% awarded A* - A grades (compared with 22% nationally).
