Welcome to the Prep School

At The Royal Prep School we are very conscious of the impact that the children’s environment has on their learning. At this time, we are delivering an innovative and exciting mix of live lessons, recorded sessions and online activities via our remote learning programme. We are looking forward to returning to our wonderfully spacious site in Hindhead, Surrey and our pupils are looking forward to the many opportunities they will have to learn and play outdoors. Most importantly, in whatever environment we find ourselves in, we surround our pupils with kind, energetic and supportive staff who understand that everyone learns differently. At the Prep School, the virtual or the physical classroom is a place where children are encouraged to enjoy the process of learning: we want them to try hard and stretch their potential.

We educate happy, motivated children who enjoy school. Our approach is affirmative and the academic research currently being published about the benefits of kindness, empathy and compassion - to individuals, to business and to the world generally - supports our approach to junior education. In short, building positive relationships with children leads to positive results.
