Admissions Process

We aim to make the admissions process as easy as possible for prospective families. Each stage is outlined below, with some amendments due to current restrictions. We continue to consult government guidelines to ensure we are Covid-compliant at all times, and maintain regular contact with applicants to ensure you are kept up to date.

1

Make contact with us

Our Admissions Team is available all year round and we are happy to have an informal conversation about how we can support you through the process.

2

Meet us online

You may wish to have a call with Mrs Smithson (Head) or Mrs Daunter (Head of Prep School) before coming to visit us.

3

Visit us

To experience the unique and friendly atmosphere of the school we would invite you to an Open Event or for an individual tour. We are currently able to offer socially distanced bespoke on-site tours during lunchtime or after school.

4

Register your child

Once you have finalised your decision we will ask you to complete our registration form and pay the registration fee of £100. Our Admissions Team is available by telephone or email to answer any further questions you may have. Following your registration, we will keep in touch with you throughout the admissions process.

5

COVID secure assessment and interview

We would usually hold assessment days for entry to the Senior School and two-day taster visits (including assessments in Mathematics and English) for Prep School applicants. However, in order to remain Covid-compliant, we have adapted our assessment process. For the Senior School we will arrange online assessments in addition to an interview with the Head via Microsoft Teams. For the Prep School, we encourage families to tour the school together with assessments taken remotely, either from home or from their current school.

6

Offer letter, acceptance and deposit

To secure your child's place, simply complete and return the acceptance paperwork and acceptance deposit of £500 by the deadline given. Transition events take place in the Summer Term (restrictions permitting).
