Welcome from Admissions

Welcome! Even in these difficult lockdown times this is the start of an amazing journey for you and your family. The Royal School is an exceptionally warm and friendly place and from your initial enquiry to the first day in school we are on hand to help and guide you.

The Admissions Team are the main point of contact for prospective parents and our aim is to make the admissions process as straightforward as possible. To get a real feel for The Royal we would always recommend visiting us in person to observe the rapport between pupils and teachers – happy children learn best and when you see us in action you will see how our interest in and care for each individual pupil results in high achievers and confident learners.

From 8 March, we will be able to offer socially distanced bespoke on-site tours at lunchtime or after school. Alternatively, we are happy to arrange a 'Personal Virtual Meeting' or phone call with Mrs Smithson, Head, or Mrs Daunter, Head of the Prep School. You can also visit our virtual experience site which has lots of videos and pictures to give you a good idea of what it all looks like!

For further information or just an informal chat, the Admissions Team can be contacted on 01428 603052. If you would prefer to send your details by email, please complete the online enquiry form or email admissions@royal-school.org.
