  • Lunches are compulsory for Years 6 – 13

    All lunches are freshly prepared each day by our skilled catering team. Lunches are an essential part of the day, and it is expected that all pupils will enjoy lunch with their peers on a daily basis. We have access to a qualified dietitian who can discuss specific requirements with families to ensure that dietary needs are met.

The Bursary Scheme

This scheme allows children whose families cannot meet the cost of the fees to benefit from the excellent educational experience at The Royal School. 

Any bursary awarded will incorporate the value of any additional discounts a child may be eligible for, excluding scholarships.

Discounts

20% discount to current Service Families of HM Forces and FCDO (Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office) employees. 

Sibling discounts (10% first sibling; 15% subsequent children).

Information Regarding Payments

All fees are payable strictly in advance and become due on the first day of term. Late payment of fees is subject to a late payment charge. No rebate of fees is allowed by the School for absence.

We offer the facility to pay school fees by direct debit with no extra charges. If you want to pay by termly direct debit, the first payment will be debited on 1 September (or the next working day). If you want to pay in monthly instalments by direct debit, the first payment will be debited on 1 August (or the next working day). The School requires a full term’s notice of withdrawal in writing, on or before the first day of term, of the removal of the pupil from the School. The same notice is required for cessation of any extra-curricular subject or bus travel. In the event of withdrawal without the required notice, a full term’s fees will be charged in lieu.
