Sparkling results for The Royal School
Department for Education places us second in the county
The Department for Education has placed The Royal School second in the county for its 2012 AS and A Level results and third for average GCSE score with 94% receiving A*-C in more than 5 subjects including Mathematics and English. The Royal School is a non-selective independent school with a wide ability intake. It has recently become the first diamond school in Surrey, teaching boys and girls together until 7 years then separately to GCSE; its Sixth Form will be open to boys in 2017. The excellence of the teaching and the affirmative approach to education delivers outstanding results in public examinations and across a wide range of extra-curricular activities. The School consistently appears at the top of Surrey league tables for GCSEs and A Levels and is holding a Girls’ Senior School at Work on 12 February and a Senior Boys’ Information Afternoon on 6 March.
