PREP 3 VISIT FISHBOURNE ROMAN PALACE

Prep 3 went to Fishbourne Roman Palace last Friday as part of their History topic Invaders and Settlers. The weather was blustery and it didn’t stop raining but that did not deter their enthusiasm for the various organised activities including arch building, identifying artefacts, making mosaic pictures and being involved with Roman domestic life. They enjoyed wandering around the museum as well as studying Fishbourne’s famous mosaic floors. Lunch was followed by a brief lull in the weather which allowed the girls to race up and down the hills outside the centre pretending to be warring Celts and invading Romans! Then the rain came again….
