HELP FOR HAITI
We have all been moved by the scenes of destruction and misery in Haiti. The Royal School girls, staff, parents and grandparents have all responded with wonderful generosity to the Haiti appeal. Altogether the school has raised the fantastic sum of £1140 which will be donated to Christian Aid. Christian Aid works with partner organisations in Haiti to help small communities outside Port-au-Prince which receive little help. Pictured are some of the senior girls who helped to fundraise by holding a cake sale, presenting the cheque to Mr Norman Rogers, the local representative for Christian Aid. The second photo is of the junior children, some of whom generously gave up their pocket money for the appeal.
