CHRISTMAS ACTION CAMPS

In the first week of the Christmas holidays, ACTion Camp took place at The Royal School. ACTion Camps are fun multi sport and drama camps open to Prep 1 up to Year 8 girls and boys. During the week, the children developed skills and game play in netball and we also had an international lacrosse player in to coach lacrosse. This was very exciting for those who have not played much lacrosse before and also gave them a head start before the lacrosse term at school. In Drama, one of the tasks was to experiment with different face masks which enabled them to take on varying characters and put a story together, this was just one of the many fun, confidence building activities in which the children were involved.

The next ACTion camp will be held in the Easter Holidays from 12^th – 16^th April and the focus will be on summer sports; rounders, tennis and athletics. Hope to see you there! If you have any queries or requests please e-mail emmamacready@royal.surrey.sch.uk
