The International Department is an integral part of the school and offers a traditional English education with as much language support as is necessary. Our popular One-Year GCSE course often leads into our Sixth Form and our recent inspection from the UKBA awarded us with Highly Trusted Sponsor status.

Careers:

Our Careers Education programme for International students in Years 10 and 11 is delivered as part of the British Cultural Programme, and aims to ensure that each girl is fully supported in being able to develop and implement her career aims.

Small-group tutorials follow the same programme as the Senior School Year 11s, ensuring that each girl develops self-awareness, decision-making skills and an understanding of the paths towards higher education and different careers.

All girls receive individual 1:1 support and take part in the programme of careers talks and lectures.
