INTERNATIONAL DEPARTMENT

Every year girls join us as International students to learn or improve their English. English classes are taught with no more than 6 in a group. This means that each girl is known individually and her timetable is set according to her specific needs.

The International Department is an integral part of the school and offers a traditional English education with as much language support as is necessary.

Our approach to education combines intensive English language tuition with other subjects as well as our own British Cultural Programme that encourages girls to learn about British culture, traditions, behaviour and manners.

The mixture of cultures at the School benefits all the students and diversity is celebrated with such events as International Day and recognition of the major festivals. International students enjoy the opportunities to take on positions of responsibility within the School and build world wide friendships that last a life time.

International A Level students go on to study a wide range of subjects at prestigious British universities. Some girls also choose to return to their own countries for university.
