APPEAL 2008-11Appeal 2008-11

We are delighted with the success we have achieved in the first two years of our Appeal, particularly given the economic situation. The new art studio at the top of Hindhead Court was opened in April and at the Senior School we are looking forward to beginning work on developing our sports facilities.

Thanks to an exceptionally generous donation of £20,000 from one family and several events with the Royal School Association the sports project has been well and truly started - earlier than anticipated - with several more events already planned for the summer term.

Both projects will benefit the life of the whole School now and for many years to come - all donations no matter how large or small, regular or one off, are received with thanks.

Launched in September 2008 and running for 3 years, the School aimed to raise £250,000 to build a creative arts space at the Junior School (£50,000) and a viewing gallery in the Princess Anne Sports Hall at the Senior School (£200,000). These improvements complement the development programme currently underway at the Junior School as a result of the A3 Improvement Scheme. The new international standard lacrosse pitch, tennis and netball courts, pavilion, chapel and car park will become available between 2009 and 2011.

Watch this space for updates on our progress.
