ROYAL SCHOOL - Haslemere

ADMISSIONS PROCEDURE

The Headmistress is happy to consider applications for entry to the School at any point during the academic year, provided that there is space available in the appropriate year group.

Entrance assessments vary according to age but we are proud to be a mixed ability school which regularly accepts girls from the maintained sector and international schools as well as from a large number of UK-based independent schools.

Whenever possible, prospective students are expected to meet the Headmistress for an informal interview. This interview, coupled with a student's current school reports and The Royal School's own entrance assessments, allows the Headmistress to build up a complete picture of each candidate's requirements.

There are many opportunities to visit the School. We hold regular Open Days and School at Work Days which enable prospective families to meet the Headmistress, staff and current pupils. Individual tours and private appointments are also available and may be booked at any point during the year.
