Winners of English Competition
Girls claim several prizes in local Rotary Club competition
Senior girls entered the Rotary Club’s competition before Christmas, submitting poetry and prose on the Olympic theme. Their entries have been very successful with two first prizes awarded to Alice Reynolds (Year 9) and Bryony Streeter (Year 8) for their poetry and prose entries.
Runners up include: Danielle Austin, Jessie Carpenter, Lucy Gavan and Natasha van Heerden (all Year 8). All of the girls mentioned will have their work forwarded to the District level of the competition, which embraces most of Surrey and West Sussex. Well done and we shall keep our fingers crossed!
